Ein partizipatives Ausstellungsprojekt des B\u00fcros f\u00fcr kuratorische Forschung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Creating art, storing art, exhibiting art, and even viewing art are always also administrative acts. The often precarious life and work management of freelance artists and curators includes acquiring funding and documenting projects, tending to collections and personnel, visitor \u201cmanagement,\u201d and also maintaining technical exhibition infrastructure. The exhibition series Artministration of the bureau for curatorial research explores the fields of work of artists and curators with a focus on private, professional, and public administrative practices and processes, as well as the associated forms of knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To kick off the series Artministration, <\/em>visitors are invited to the new office of the bureau for curatorial research to submit and discuss topic suggestions for an open call exhibition. After the open call is published, the artistic submissions will be evaluated in a participatory process together with visitors and finally presented in an exhibition at the bureau for curatorial research. During office hours, the office team will be providing curatorial consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results of the exhibition further expand the thematic scope of administrative acts in the field of art and culture and set priorities for future editions of the Artministration series in other administrative architectures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The submissions received in response to the open call will be evaluated by visitors, and the selected entries will be presented in an exhibition at the bureau for curatorial research<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the open call exhibition, we look forward to having a drink with participating artists and interested visitors. Our closing event provides an opportunity to engage in conversation with the artists on site once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
